Noki: Shards of the Untamed

Nöki: Shards of the Untamed is an isometric action-adventure game in which you control Nöki the penguin. Nöki, outcasted by his flock, meets a mysterious figure who gives him the magical power to become a snowball and create ice sculptures to traverse the arctic environment. Fight, roll and sculpt your way through an encouraging journey.

EXPLORE THE LAND OF THE UNTAMED

This demo features two levels where you will find combat encounters, puzzles and secrets that you will only find by exploring. 

FIGHT YOUR EMOTIONS... AND SOME BIRDS!

You will face five different types of enemies that will test your skills. Combine abilities such as melee combat, area attacks, combos and much more!

SCULPT YOUR POWERS IN A SHATTERED WORLD

Use your skills to solve puzzles, defeat enemies and find your way in this magical land.

ABOUT THE GAME

The game was created during the Autumn 2023 'Game Project I' course in Aalto University by students of the MA & MS in Game Design and Development. The game was made using Unreal Engine 5 and WWise.
